Angela's Angels

On December 20, 2017 my sister-in-law, Angela Ramage, was on her way home from work. As she turned onto Paul Rd, she was probably thinking about  how exciting it would be to watch her 2 year old son, Will, experience the magic of Santa as he came down the stairs on Christmas morning. It would also be the first Christmas she and her family would celebrate with her 4 month old daughter, Laney. Without warning, an oncoming vehicle crossed the center line and struck Angela's vehicle head-on. As a result of this accident, Angela has sustained a number of injuries. She suffered a broken pelvis, a shattered hip and shattered knee caps. She had to undergo several hours of surgery to try and repair the damage done to her body. She will have to ungergo more surgical procedures in the future. Nor will she be able to share in the joy of Christmas with her son and husband, Neil. Angela is facing a long and slow recovery that will require ongoing physical and occupational therapy to regain her ability to walk. As the result of her injuries, Angela will not be able to return to work for several months as she focuses on her physical healing. The loss of her income will have a devastating impact on their household. The funds raised through this campaign will fill in the gap the loss of Angela's income has created. It will pay the mortgage, utility bills, grocery bills and support other daily needs. My hope is that the funds will allow Angela to focus on her recovery while keeping the rest of her life as close to normal as possible. Angela has devoted her life to helping others through her career as a nurse. Nurses are Earthly Angels. They are helpers and givers. They provide comfort and care to those in need. Right now Angela needs our help, our comfort and our care. Angela needs Angels.
