Boys Town Vietnam Veteran Memorial

Donation protected
I WANT TO THANK THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE ALREADY DONATED TO THIS PROJECT! Special Thanks to Bruce Dolan, Richard Tapio, the Chesney Brothers, John Browers, Mark Nekonchuk, and John Mollison – all who have made significant donations to this effort. I’m sure that I missed a couple of guys, and I apologize in advance if I left out your name. Together we have put in $1,300.00 in this project over the past three years.

While the Class of 1967 started this project to honor our Boys Town Classmates who fell in Vietnam, others have joined us to help move the project along. We are trying to complete the fundraising by the end of December, 2018. This so that we can dedicate the Vietnam Statue Memorial during the Biennial Reunion in July, 2019.

The cost of the No. 67 Father Flanagan Limited Edition Statue is $1,800.00. The cost of the inscribed bronze plate with the Image of the Vietnam War and the names of the Fallen inscribed in the bronze plate is $500.00. Finally the cost of the Walnut Base which holds the Statue and Bronze Inscription is estimated to be another $400.00.

There are approximated 20 classmates who will be remembered on the bronze plate as well as on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. So, we are about $1,400.00 short of our fundraising goal. If you can find it in you heart to help this project meet its funding goal by donating just $5.00, I am certain that we can memorialize these fallen classmates next July.

Thank you in advance for your consideration –
