Hello, everybody!
We are Stephanie and Ian, a couple looking to make a dream we had together a reality. We are by no means conventional people and the same can be said of our goal. We want to travel, to see all there is to see ,and help as many people as we can along the way.
How do we plan to do this?
A few months ago now we bought a 1991 International school bus. Our plan is to transform that bus into our tiny home on wheels and to build our life from the ground up exactly the way we want it to be. Being artists, we plan to travel around the United states selling what we craft to make a living. We also want to volunteer in any way we can, wherever we are so that we may improve the lives of as many as we we can. One of our goals is to set up small free libraries across the country. These are small outposts where anyone may take books or leave some for someone else. Our hope is that we can spread knowledge and literature and help bring a stronger sense of community wherever we build a free library.
Where will the money go?
All proceeds generated from this fundraiser will go directly into the renovation and conversion of the bus. It will go towards materials; lumber, plywood, insulation etc. As well as the bigger ticket items we need; water tanks, solar power system, plumbing.
Why do we need the money in the first place?
Without your assistance in this endeavor, our dream may never come to pass. Just like almost every other working class adults in the world, we have bills and debts to pay off. Those bills and debts are holding us back from making this happen. In our current situation, it could take us years to get the project completed. Years we don't want to spend not volunteering in the areas that need it most. That's where you come in, you can help us get over that threshold and make all this possible. We cannot express how thankful we will be if we meet our goal. In return, we will do everything we can to make everyone who donates to our project proud to have done so.
