I am the Rev. Keni Lee Burgess, a Bottleneck Slide Blues Guitarist and music teacher.
My Story
Starting back in 2007 , I created a series of instructional video CDs for 3 & 4 string Cigar Box and 6 string guitar.
For ten years as a business, selling these CDs and providing free online support to my students, has helped to support me financially.
Alas, times change and where I was a big fish in a little pond on Youtube, being one of the early entrepreneur to take advantage of promoting my lessons through Ebay, the market is now saturated and my business is nearing its end.
A New Project
Although I am not without my family, students, friends and fans, especially in my Facebook group, "How to Play Delta Blues Bottleneck Slide Guitar". To end this adventure on a high note, I would like to produce one last DVD, in a special way.
Every two weeks, I will produce and record a detailed lesson focused on Open D Tuning (aka Vestapol). I will post and share it on Youtube and in my Facebook group for all to benefit*.
Being interactive, students can ask questions and make suggestions, that will inspire future lessons. The DVD will contain 10 lessons.

*Originally, I posted lessons on Youtube for all. It was by the suggestion of a friend that I package them for sale. Continuing, each time I would make a new CD, the videos were posted on Youtube. Upon completion, they were removed and made available for sale. Students eagerly awaited the next lesson.
