Botkins Medical Care
Donation protected
Hello everyone meet Jennifer Botkins. A young 33 year old Wife, mother of one 7 year old boy, Navy Veteran and Federal employee to Department of Justice and close friend/family to me. Jennifer and I began working at the agency together since 2009. She became family immediately. She is kind, selfless and went out of her way to assist anyone in need. First one to arrive and last one to leave. We have celebrated many family functions together and without hesitation it was always what are WE doing meaning her family and mine. Jennifer holds a special place in my families life and we will always be grateful for all the times spent together.
She has been diagnosed with Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy or (PML) for short. It is a rare and usually fatal viral/disease characterized by progressive damage or inflammation of the white matter of the brain at multiple locations. One-third to one-half of people with PML die in the first few months following diagnosis, depending on the severity of their underlying disease. Survivors can be left with variable degrees of neurological disability. No drugs effectively inhibit or cure the virus infection without toxicity.
She was recently release from the hospital and sent home bed ridden and with the help of Hospice care to make her as comfortable as possible. This is very troubling and heartbreaking times for the Botkins family. The primary purpose of this gofundme is to assist the family with medical care/ future medical expenses that may come suddenly. No donation is to small. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!!Best wishes for the Botkins Family..
