Al has left this mortal coil and we are all grateful for your support.  Al fought hard to get back to Bangor to be close to family and friends.  You all helped with funds to keep his mom by his side.  Thank you so much.    Rest in Peace Big Al..

Update:  4 months later and Big Al is still fighting..  He was hoping to some back to the Bangor hospital this week to be closer to family and friend, but the pneumonia developed over the weekend has set him back.   He is fighting the beast inside his head with all his might.  Jane stays strong at his side.  It seems surreal to you and I, but it is now a very very real life thing for Al and Jane.  The doctors continue to try and figure out things.  It is so complicated.  Please continue your prayers for comfort.

UPDATE:   Two months later and Alan is still fighting an unknown disease.  The doctors refer to it as the Trotts disease.  Alan is still suffering from a lot of pain and the many groups of doctors at Mass General are still mystified.  The doctors and nurses are all treating Al with love and compassion.  His dear mom, Jane walks back and forth daily to the hospital to spend time with her son.  Al and Jane are troopers for sure.  I am not certain why Al is having to be put through so much pain and suffering, but I know the Grace he is showing is more than anything I have ever known.  His mom puts her happy face daily. Thank you all for your support and for your numerous gifts of money.  This does bring AL and Jane comfort from this support.  I know Al is suffering, but it also is a very sad thing for a mom, alone watch her son suffer is so much pain daily.  Continue to pray and keep them both in your thoughts.  Thank you, Adria

ORIGINAL STATEMENT :My cousin Jane Weatherbee is in Boston staying with her son Alan Trott as he continues to fight a horrible battle with an illness that has yet to be diagnosed.  They both were  in Boston for 5 weeks earlier in the spring, hoping someone may figure out a diagnoses but Allan continues to suffer while waiting at Mass General.  They were back at the Bangor hospital for a few weeks and the pain was so intense, they moved Allan back to Boston.  This time they only allowed Jane to stay with him 2 nights.  Everyone knows how crazy expensive it is in Boston, close to Mass General.  She has a few nights lined up at a local Hostel and a few more at the Beacon House .  The nightly rate at the Beacon House is 75.  I have lined up four nights at the Beacon House and I would like to ask family and friends to help by donating a small amount to allow more nights to be booked so Jane can be close to her son and  only have to worry about her son and not where she is going to sleep.  I can't imagine having a very ill son, being in Boston alone.  If you are not able to help in a small way, I will ask you to please pray for Allan's relief in pain.  Thank you, Adria Yock
