Boo's Cancer Journey

Boo has been diagnosed with rapidly spreading  cancer. His best hope is to very quickly start receiving treatment. He has been in the hospital for a long time, and still has a very long a hard road ahead of him. As of now, the suggested treatment is to receive a lethal dose of chemo and radiation. He may also have to receive transplants. He is being transported by helicopter from Tifton to Emory very soon. He has no insurance, and is self employed with no benefits. His wife, Jessica, is doing her very best to maintain her employment while raising their children and being there as much as possible with her husband. The move to Emory is the best possible hope for Boos survival. In that though, it is the hardest for him and his family to be able to be together. Jessica has done her very best to hold it all together, but we can be a huge help as a community. They have opened up their home to countless people over the years. They have always been there for everyone else. They have housed, clothed, and fed many families for many years. They are two people that you can always count on to be there. It's time that we are all there for them. They need our prayers. We need to carry them to the cross. When they can barely stand....we need to hold them up. They need our financial help as well. They haven't asked for a dime, but this is a very practical way for us to help them....and they need it! Every little bit counts and every little bit adds up. Even 5.00 can provide a lunch. The family will need money to go back and forth, have a hotel, and have meals while away. They will also need help with their bills and necessities at home. Lets link together as a community and carry this family in the same way that they have always carried others.
