Boobies go bye-bye!

(I no longer work at PetSmart, ignore uniform)

Hello! My names Arielle! I'm 23 and from the age of 14 I have always struggled with the size of my breasts. I'm not entirely sure what size I am anymore, but the last tried to wear a REAL bra, was a 36K (Yes, K this was not a mistake) and while the band fit the cup size was too small. When this happened, it felt very demoralizing.

This is something I hide very well through wearing oversize shirts and many many many sports bras that give little to no support. At minimum, I wear 2 a day just for sitting around the house. For something like going to work or even the grocery store I end up wearing anywhere from 4 to 6 sports bras. I finally get some sort of support I need but at the cost of limiting my breathing, having the straps dig horribly into my shoulders and if i do so much as go out to eat, even with all of those sports bras my breasts put so much pressure on my stomach I usually find myself feeling very nauseous.

Over time, health is starting to become more and more of a concern as well. I am pre-diabetic with PCOS. If you know of the 2nd condition, or even if you don't, physical activity is VERY good with managing and handling it. Preforming physical activity just as small as running causes me quite a bit of pain.

In mix with physical activity, my back and my neck is beginning to suffer the most. I am constantly plagued by chronic neck and back pain and my neck has actually lost its natural curve. My neck is as straight as a pencil, literally.  My shoulders are in constant pain and it feels almost like a workout just to maintain a 'good' posture.

Since I was 14, I have been fighting with insurance for this only to be denied time and time again for various different reasons every time. I don't know what else to do aside from trying to pay out of pocket for this.

I originally lived in Ohio but moved to NH back in June 2018. Though living here is nicer, it's been a struggle in the same way. I've been jumping from part time to part time job and unless I was mistold by the official offices, I need to work minimum 30 hours a week to qualify for medicaid. Regardless, I tried to apply for medical insurance and was told the state would be contacting me and now months later I still never received any contact.

This is a topic that has always left me in a somewhat dark place after,  I've hit a point where I feel like hope is nearly lost. I'm not sure what else I can do, so I'm coming here in hopes of help!

I don't actually know how much a breast reduction costs out of pocket any more but from what I remember when I actually got to go as far as seeing the payment options at a office when i was 16, it looked like anywhere between $5-$8. I'm hoping for enough for the base surgery and some extra to have for recovery time while I'm away from work.

Any and all support will be appreciated with much love. <3
