BOOB VOYAGE LINDA!
Help us fund Linda Lynch’s trip to Paris to see her daughter, (one of our our pastry chefs & all-round awesome lady) Janae. ❤️ Linda, 53 and a mother of 3, is a breast cancer survivor. She is currently recovering from reconstructive surgery after months of chemotherapy. Linda was first diagnosed with estrogen reactive cancer in 2009, and she underwent localized radiation treatment, followed by 6 years of medication. Unfortunately, at an annual checkup in 2018, she received the news that her cancer had returned. This time, Linda had to undergo a double mastectomy as well as 4 months of chemotherapy. She completed her treatment while working full time in order to pay the bills. Linda had planned a trip from the US to Paris (her first visit here) to see Janae, but these unforeseen medical expenses consumed the funds for her trip.
We at Boneshaker feel strongly that Linda should not miss out on her trip after her long battle with breast cancer! An inspiration to her family and friends, she has overcome every obstacle and is recovering well. On the 3rd of February, we’re asking our friends, family, and doughnut-lovers to stop by and “DOUGH-nate” to our cause by buying a pastry!We have created this campaign for those who would like to join in on this collective but are unable to make it to the event. Our goal is to raise 1000€ to cover the cost of her airline tickets.
Aidez-nous à financer le voyage de Linda Lynch à Paris pour voir sa fille (l'une de nos géniales pâtissières) Janae. ️❤️ Linda, 53 ans, mère de 3 enfants, est une survivante du cancer du sein. Elle se remet actuellement d'une chirurgie reconstructive après des mois de chimiothérapie. Linda a reçu son premier diagnostic de cancer réactif aux œstrogènes en 2009, et elle a subi une radiothérapie localisée, suivie de six années de traitement médicamenteux. Malheureusement, lors d'un bilan annuel en 2018, elle a appris que son cancer était revenu. Cette fois, Linda a dû subir une double mastectomie ainsi qu'une chimiothérapie de 4 mois. Elle a terminé son traitement tout en travaillant à plein temps pour payer les factures. Linda avait prévu un voyage des États-Unis à Paris (sa première visite ici) pour voir Janae, mais ces dépenses médicales imprévues ont consommé les fonds pour son voyage. Chez Boneshaker, nous croyons fermement que Linda ne devrait pas manquer son voyage après sa longue lutte contre le cancer du sein ! Inspiratrice pour sa famille et ses amis, elle a surmonté tous les obstacles et se remet bien. Le 3 février, nous demandons à nos amis, à notre famille et aux amateurs de beignets de passer nous voir et de "DOUGH-nate" pour notre cause en achetant une pâtisserie ! nous avons créé cette campagne en ligne pour ceux qui voudraient participer mais qui ne sont pas en mesure de venir à l'événement. Notre objectif est de récolter 1000€ pour couvrir le coût de ses billets d'avion.
