Bonker's Emergency Surgery Fund

Hello Family & Friends, we are calling on you for support.

Last weekend on Thanksgiving Sunday, our sweet dog Bonkers was seriously injured while on a hike with Bradley. Bonkers was running full speed through the forest when a branch badly impaled his back leg & stomach. Bradley had to carry poor Bonkers a few kilometres out of the forest and rush him to the emergency Veterinary Hospital in Victoria, because our local vets were closed for the holidays.

Bonkers had surgery that night and spent three more days in the hospital. It is likely he'll make a full recovery but at the moment he is in a tremendous amount of pain and barely able to walk. As I'm sure you can imagine, the vet bill was a big number, which we weren't budgeting, prepared or insured for. 

This accident has come during what is already an extremely stressful time due to a complicated need to find a new home. We are doing our best  to keep it together in a good way for each other, Sauryn and Bonkers and it's hard for us to be to asking for help.

However, we know we need to relieve some of the pressure we are under with everything going on. So if pitching in a bit of money for Bonker's surgery fund feels like an easy thing for you to do, it would make a big difference.
