Bob Underwood's medical & memorial

On Tuesday April 24th 2018 Bob Underwood unfortunately lost his battle with cancer. As a very close friend of the family I am seeking to help them with Mr. Underwood's final expenses in this very difficult time of their lives. Any donations received will be used for Bob's memorial and medical bills.
Bob was a wonderful man and spent his entire life helping others in need. In his younger years Bob served in the Coast Guard reserve in Sylvan Beach NY and also served 6 years in the National Guard before joining the Bridgeport fire department in 1979 where he served two terms as Chief from 1985 until 1993. He was also a charter member and served as president of the Bridgeport VFW Mens Auxillary.
In fact, although I caused him much grief in my teenage years, I have a personal experience of Mr. Underwood helping me in my time of need as well. In August 2003 I was hit by a car and after hearing it come across his scanner Bob was the first person on the scene and was able to stabilize me until the ambulance could arrive and for that I am forever grateful.
I would like to personally thank every one of you for your generosity and the family will be extremely grateful.

For anyone interested in attending the memorial it will be held Saturday May 5th at 12:30pm at Bridgeport VFW.
