This page is in honor of Bobby Vicencio. It was created at the behest of those who would like to support our family in celebrating his life and honoring his final wishes in lieu of flowers and other gifts. We send our deep appreciation for your prayers and condolences.
Celso (Bobby) Vicencio was born April 8, 1948. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend to the different people he has touched in his life. Through the later years he fought against many health issues and on the morning of May 17th he laid down his burden and is now at rest.
Bobby, or "Boy" to his parents and siblings, grew up in the Phillipines where he dedicated his life in the service of his family and the church. To further provide for his family, Bobby joined the US Navy where he enlisted and served in the Vietnam War, completed multiple tours of duty, and retired as a Senior Chief.
After retiring from the Navy, he continued his service in his work at the Ritz Carlton in Chicago and in his life as a Eucharistic Minister at the Church, a Master Freemason and Sir Knight to his brothers, and a leader and philanthropist for the Rotary Club and the Shriners. He was a man of integrity, respect, love and kindness to all those whose lives he touched but never more so than to his wife Josephine and his three children, Vanessa, Kristinne and Robert.
Though he will continue to live on in the love he shared as a father, husband, brother, son and friend, there is no way to fill the void that his passing leaves in the world.
As part of his final request, he wished to be laid to rest close to his mother, father and siblings in Chicago and will be transported to there from New York. Please include Bobby in your thoughts and prayers as he finds his final peace.
