With the help of professional educators, I have created a year long, school-wide program for all students to learn about Florida's waterways and how they impact the flora and fauna in our state and ultimately the lives of all who call Florida home.
Its based around my song, Lullaby of the Rivers, which references fourteen rivers with Native American names such as Ocklawaha, Ichetuchnee, Econfina, and Withlacoochee.
This program has been a big success here in Duval County, and Fishweir Elementary won a Little Red School House Award with the program!
Now I am ready to create a DVD that I can give to schools and libraries in Florida that will show teachers how to set up the program in their own schools. I need money for development of the DVD, and for shipping. This is where you can help.
My friends, I am asking for your help today, with donations to my GoFundMe page. The money will be used to produce a DVD that will outline the program, and educate the teachers and encourage them to use this program in their own schools all across Florida. No donation is too small.
