Help A Local Band Play A Music Festival
Please help us play our first out of state show!
The Melonfest Festival in Berea, KY is a fundraiser festival for the family of Blind Melon singer, the late Shannon Hoon. Estimated attendance is up to as many as 5,000 people. This could be the opportunity of a lifetime for us. We aren't on a record label, and we are mostly funded out of our own paychecks. But we feel confident that we write good songs and just need that little push to get it in front of people. But traveling to shows out of state involves stuff like renting a trailer, gas, merchandise, food, etc.
Berea, KY is in the middle of the state and is considered the "Arts Capital of Kentucky". It is also the home of the Berea Liberal Arts College. In other words...heaven for a band like us.
Like most bands, we have day jobs (coffee house, Lowe's, Home health care). We all live paycheck-to-paycheck like most families today. To escape our stresses we write and record music, play locally and release music online. Playing this festival would be a dream come true for us.
Thank you ahead of time for your help.
