Laila Ramirez's Medical Expenses

Laila Ramirez stole the hearts of our Girl Scout troop almost instantly. She has blessed our girls with her leadership skills, maturity, passion and most of all her friendship. Laila is a vibrant 4th grader, who loves baking, singing, playing volleyball, participating in Girl Scouts, and most importantly spending time with her family and friends. In a matter of days she has become heavily dependent on machines and doctors' care.

She is currently in ICU and recently diagnosed with Sepsis days after playing in a volley ball game. {Sepsis is a potentially life-threatening complication of an infection. Sepsis occurs when chemicals released into the bloodstream to fight the infection trigger inflammatory responses throughout the body. This inflammation can trigger a cascade of changes that can damage multiple organ systems, causing them to fail.}

We know that with God, much prayer, and faith Laila will beat this!!! She is so wise and strong well beyond her years.

The Ramirez's are such an amazingly humble family but we know that medical expenses can quickly add up. Laila is on her way to a long road of recovery and every little bit will definitely ease the financial stress outside of caring for their little angel. Please pray for Laila Ramirez recovery and her family.
