Bluebells School classroom fund

Donation protected
Hi my name is Josh I’m a Paramedic in London. Thankyou for taking the time to read my gofundme page here’s my story:
Last year I was lucky enough to volunteer at Bluebells School, in Watamu, Kenya.  I had 7 glorious weeks there and was completely immersed in trying to improve the education of these wonderful children, as well as clear ground  for 'Project Tomato' to get underway - an initiative set up by the school to sell tomatoes and passion fruit to enable them to become more self-sufficient.  Currently the school has its infrastructure built by profits from 'Bushbells' (www.bushbells.com) - an organisation selling fabulous brightly coloured kikoy clothing here in the UK, to raise funds for education in Watamu.

I loved my time there so much and found it so rewarding that I have persuaded to take my family back this year.  We head out in August and I can't wait to see what developments have been made.  I also want to make a difference.  Back in December 2017, Bushbells funded the building of a further 3 classrooms, and the school needs 3 more and then it will be pretty much complete.  My goal is to try and kick start funding for one classroom that has its basic foundations laid.  We need to buy bricks, mabati (corrugated iron roofing) and pay for the cement and labour to put it up.  My target is to raise £1000 which would almost cover this build. I'd be delighted to answer any questions but meantime ask you to donate any spare few ££s pennies you may have to help me achieve this?

The 60 children at Bluebells come from very low income families and Bushbells give each and every child a meal there each day.  10 of the children are also sponsored by Bushbells and the principal, Mwana, is a very caring lady who has lots of initiative and determination - but it's hard.  Some children walk over 90 minutes to the school at the beginning and end of each day but they are happy, as they are receiving a first class education.  Resources are basic, but the teaching is good and thorough, and they benefit from not being too many in a class, so receiving more one-to-one tuition.  I hope that you can help me realise my goal.  Thank you for taking time to read this!  Josh.
