Bleu currently has a prolapsed gland of the eyelid, known as “cherry eye”. Due to tears in the connective tissue, the gland is protruding from her lower lid. Repairing the gland is essential since wind and dust may lead to further irritation and infection. Even a slight scratch could cause further damage. We want Bleu to have a life full of outdoor fun and exploration, enjoying all the scents and sights that life has to offer without the constant worry of potential health complications. After all, she is only 5 months old and her life is just getting started. She has been to the vet and luckily she is a candidate to have a surgery that would re-attach the glands.
