Blessings For Renice

Avon Community Swim Team's Coach Renice has been battling very serious health issues for well over a year. She has had to miss work and coaching to visit well known and unfortunately expensive care centers for treatment. These visits will have to continue for the forseable future. Her health issues have not only taken a toll on her physically and mentally but financially as well. Recently Renice attended a swim meet for our kids while in no physical condition to do so. While she was doing it for the kids, I believe a large part of her decision to jeopardize her health, if not her life, was financial. We may not be able to help with the medical portion of Renice's care but we can certainly help financially. All we are trying to do with this campaign is to ease some of the pressure from Renice so she can concentrate on healing and not worry about finances. We have set a lofty goal which we may or may not meet. However, every dollar will help. Renice has given so much to so many of our young swimmers. Now, maybe, it's our time to give back just a little.
