"Blazing the Pink" Coast-to-Coast

I am a long-distance BMW motorcyclist and plan to ride from the coast of Georgia to San Diego, California in less than 50 hours on September 30, 2017...why? There is an organization that is often overlooked - "Look Good Feel Better' - which provides cancer patients, who are fighting for their lives and have endured the heartbreaking effects of chemotherapy, some personal dignity. Through the "Look Good Feel Better" program, those suffering from the harsh effects of cancer treatments get pampered through their pain with love, makeovers and wigs. This is an organization that is often overlooked, but means the world to those suffering through the battle of their lives. 

I've had several close friends and family affected by the big ugly "C" word, and want to make a difference. Therefore, I will mount my BMW motorcyle at 3:00 am on Saturday morning, September 30, with two other support members (both who have had their own family members effected by cancer), and we will ride coast-to-coast in under 50 hours to raise money for the "Look Good Feel Better" representative in Horry County, South Carolina, Tami Floyd-Fogleman. Tami has worked with this caring organization through her salon, Tami and Company, for 25 years. At times, Tami's "Wig Bank" is empty, but she makes sure every patient gets their loving care...even if it's out of her own pocket.

I promise to ride my heart out for this cause beginning in the early morning hours of September 30, and I plan to arrive on the beaches of San Diego, California (with my tiny crew) in the early morning hours of October 2.
