Black Male Teacher Inspiring Hope
Donation protected
My third week as Chair @ DSU ends with a conversation with a young man who lost his scholarship - one point off from the GPA requirement. He’s worked to make the first payment, but $750 off for the 2nd (due Monday). We sat and talked about his goals - to be a 2nd grade teacher in 3 years. We talked about the hard work ahead to get a new scholarship. He’s done extensive work in his community and that seeded his commitment to teaching. I’m committed by any means necessary to have more males in our schools. If you’re able to help make a difference - please donate - NO amount goes unappreciated.
