BK Half for Alex's Lemonade Stand

Hi everyone! This year's Brooklyn Half Marathon (which I'll run on May 20) is my FIFTH big race, and this time, I've decided to run it to benefit an organization that is very close to my heart, Alex's Lemonade Stand. Matt and I started donating to ALS last year in memory of my father-in-law, David Kosik, and we hope to support this amazing cause for years to come. Contributions to Alex's Lemonade Stand go toward research into new treatments and cures for childhood cancers, as well as awareness and education efforts.
The organization has scored 95/100 by Charity Navigator, and 88% of their expenses are *actually* spent on their mission (rather than administrative and fundraising costs), so we can all feel really good about our dollars being put to work for the benefit of the children who need our support.
