Bishop's Chamonix Alps Trip

My name is Bishop Godwin and I am a junior in the IB program at my high school. My family and I have lived in Rocky Mount, NC all my life. Both my parents and one set of grandparents are from eastern North Carolina as well, therefore my travel experiences have been limited.  The summer before my sophomore year, I went on a trip with a summer adventure company called Moondance.  My group of 10, including two adult leaders, camped and traveled throughout Washington and Oregon doing numerous outdoor activities.  In the three weeks I was gone, I grew more than I had in my previous 15 years!  That trip has made me who I am, and who I am striving to be everyday. 

This coming summer, I am planning to go on another Moondance Adventures trip.  This time, I will travel to Europe, specifically France, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy.  My family was able to afford my domestic trip, but it is a bit more difficult to pay for a trip abroad.  Over this past summer I pet-sat, baby-sat, and did numerous other things to raise as much money as I could.  During the school year with homework and afternoon activities, it is harder to be as available.  

In September, I was able to pay for the $800 deposit on my trip.  Although paying that much money at one time is very hard for me (I can hardly put a whole tank of gas in my car without cringing!), I know when I am hiking all around Europe this summer, I will find it extremely rewarding.  

I am hoping to raise more money using GoFundMe so I can help my parents out as much as possible.  I am planing on using all of the money left in my account to help pay for the trip along with whatever else I can earn before March.  But, if you can help me, that would be greatly appreciated!
