Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank you for taking a moment to consider this humble fundraiser.
My name is Bishop William Jones, OSB; and I am the presiding bishop of the United Anglo-Catholic Church, based in North Carolina. Our Church is currently spread throughout continental North America; from coast to coast. In September of this year, Our Church will be having its first General Convention in Kearny, New Jersey. During that time, we will share in fellowship with the clergy and people from our church; as well as establishing more working relationships and agreements with our communion and ministry partners from various other churches.
As our clergy are non-stipend; we do not receive payment for our services, not do we draw salary from the church. This means that any work we desire to do for the church is borne by funds out of our own pocket; a fact which sometimes means that we must ask for assistance in our ministry. My own ministry includes various forms of charitable and religious endeavors; including helping to support our local animal shelter with donations of foodstuffs and other material items, as well as helping mission chapels and churches to establish themselves by means of offering items to be used in liturgy or to help the poor in their communities.
I myself humbly ask for your assistance. I willingly pay for anything related to my ministry, as I am able; out of my own pocket; however as I am disabled and without a steady or regular income, this sometimes makes things difficult. I am asking anyone who feels called to help this unworthy minister of Christ to help me, so that I may bring Christ's presence and blessings to the people and our parishes. Each person who offers their help will be assured of my humble prayers for them at each and every Mass that I celebrate; as well as for those they love. Please consider assisting me in the sacred missions entrusted to me; for together, we can change the world!
