Hi Friends & Family!
My 24th birthday is quickly approaching and I have 1 wish that I am asking you all to help me with.
Towards the end of the year 2014 I received a bone marrow transplant and spent a few months at Johns Hopkins’ Hospital on their children oncology floor. While there I met some great people who were either parents of patients, patients themselves, or nurses that were willing to stay up late and talk with me about my problems. I think about my time there a lot and just recently I remembered a time when I spent thanksgiving and Christmas in the hospital when I was 10 years old. The holidays have passed but children always love receiving gifts! So I am asking that you all help me get gifts for the children on the oncology floor at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I have everything I could ever need just being alive and well today. The only thing I want to do on my birthday is go visit these strong children and give them a reason to smile and show them that I am proof that things can get better for children with cancer!
All donations will go to a fund dedicate to purchasing gifts bags for the children at Johns Hopkins on the 11th floor of Bloomberg Children’s Hospital.
