BIRTHDAY DONUTS FOR ALL
Our charismatic firstborn son "3.0" is turning 6 on March 30 and our family will be providing donuts to his kindergarten classmates at lunch time. . . dot dot dot
I figured we'd squeeze to throw in an extra dozen for the hard working teachers. Here's the crux: we've got several friends in other classes, many of whom share a lunchtime and I can already envision the disappointment on their faces if we don't have donuts for all...
DONUTS FOR ALL is based on a few facts:
-This is our first of many years of involvement with the public school system and we LOVE LOVE LOVE our school, which has 700 students.
-The only precedent we are setting is teaching our children to celebrate themselves by giving back whenever they can.
-EVERYONE loves a donut... even folks who can't eat 'em appreciate the aroma!!
Basically, I've got 40 dozen donut goals with a 4 dozen personal budget.
I realize this is OVER THE TOP but everyhing we do is OVER THE TOP and this is pretty normal for the folks who know us well.

Here's the breakdown:
I called the local Krispy Kreme and the bulk non-fundraising price is $6.74/dozen.
(I don't need to shop this around because I already know Krispy Kreme is the best. Also, I can get my son an amazing donut hat.)
That's $202.20 pre-tax to get 30 dozen, 360 donuts, enough for the whole cafeteria and teachers.

I'll pick up the tax, taxi and deliver the donuts, and provide you proof that the donut delivery occured. For every donut-ation of $20 or more, send me your mailing address for a hand written thank you note! PARDON THE GLAZE PRINTS.
We would need the funds BEFORE MARCH 24 to plan this with the school and place our order. If we're unable to reach our DONUTS FOR ALL goal, well.... we're just provide as many donuts as our money can buy.
Just .56 cents buys a single donut for a student or teacher who is really gonna want a donut when they see and smell the donuts.
