Birchwood colts container fire
Donation protected
On the evening of the 23rd one of the Birchwood Colts children’s football club containiers was set on fire causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. This football club runs as a facility for young children to enjoy football, a real grass roots football club. A lot of equipment was destroyed in the fire including a kitchen facility that provides essential fund raising for the club. Kits, balls and other training equipment was also destroyed.
If you can afford it please give as little or as much as you can.
We are devastated as this is a grassroots club for children aged 5-16 years old, giving kids in the local community the opportunity to learn and have fun. Every single person in the club is a volunteer and we aren't lucky enough to have a billionaire owner who can replace everything that has been ruined by this arson attack.
Update...the club sec Cliff Penning has started emptying the container and is accessing the damage and he has estimated up to 10k worth of damage!
