Billy Merchant medical fund

We don't often get the chance to assist and honor true American Heroes; but I'm hoping that you will take a moment to  help our dear friend Billy Merchant and his beautiful family.  After spending 20 years in public service as a policeman in Los Angeles, Billy has also served our country in Iraq and is the loving husband of his amazing wife Lucia of 13 years and father of his beautiful little 5th grader named Natalie. This is a good man and family who GIVES constantly to others, through not only career choices but by the way they live their lives. They are always helping people and servicing the community by raising money for fundraisers and taking care of anyone who comes across their path. Now they are in need of some help themselves however those closest to them know that they will never ask for help so we are asking for them.

Billy was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago and is currently facing Advanced Stage 4  that has metastasized into his bones.  As a result Billy has not been able to work for a very long time and the family is facing financial burden along with the intense daily stress of a terminal illness.  They have to make some very tough decisions regarding Billys course of treatment given his most recent prognosis- so please keep them in your prayers.  Billy has been hospitalized multiple times for treatments and surgeries, coupled with transportation and accommodations, enormous hospital bills and the inability to work, this has amounted a massive financial burden.  In addition to the recent rounds of radiation and chemo therapies, Billy recently underwent multiple surgeries,required a feeding tube and a titanium rod was installed to help support his hip and femur.  Billy is currently still in the hospital. Rehabilitation is next and more rounds of radiation and chemo therapies are underway.  With our prayers, encouragements, and monetary donations- we can express our love and support to Billy, Lucia and their precious girl, Natalie.
