Billy Harris vs. Lymphoma

If you’re reading this gofundme story, there’s a good chance that you know Billy Harris, as he has touched many lives with his humor and generosity over his 44 years.  Before settling down to raise two incredible daughters in Beachburg, Ontario, Billy and his wife Carly traveled the world as whitewater kayaking instructors and competitive athletes.  Through his years of teaching, sharing his passion for the outdoors, and most recently his commitment as a volunteer firefighter, husband and father, Billy has always been dedicated to helping others.  Billy now needs our help.

A week ago, Billy was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) – a cancer that affects the lymphatic system.  Treatment for the disease needs to begin immediately and involves aggressive radiation therapy, which will dramatically limit Billy’s ability to support his family during a key time for his Arborist Tree Service business.  

We are asking his friends near and far to help reduce the burden associated with this horrible disease by making a donation towards replacing his lost income so his family can focus on being there to support him, with less worry, while he faces the fight of his life.
