Bill Vipond’s Lung Transplant
Donation protected
On December 2, 2016 Bill underwent a double lung transplant.
There are many obstacles in the months ahead as Bill and his wife, Joyce, reside in Vancouver while he recovers; including, a 6-12 month stay for follow-up care, rehabilitation, medication plans, physical therapy and intense monitoring from the transplant team at Vancouver General Hospital.
Even after Bill has returned home to Chetwynd, he will require frequent trips to Vancouver for medical testing and rehabilitation to monitor the status of his new lungs.
We are setting up this Go Fund Me campaign with the hope that by doing so we can help ease the costs of travel, housing in Vancouver and all other unforeseen
expenses. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated and go a long way to help ease the stress of this journey.
On behalf of the Vipond family, we are deeply thankful for your support in getting our Dad/Grandpa/Uncle/Brother Bill on his way to an exciting new life with his new lungs!
