A discussion on Bill C-16

On November 11th, I organized and moderated the largest free speech event in Canada on'the stifling of free speech on university campuses", featuring Dr. Jordan Peterson, Dr. Gad Saad and Dr. Oren Amitay. The 1,500 seat auditoruim was sold out. The video is now on youtube for free for people to view who could not attend the event. The mainstream media did not cover the event, and sadly it is not surprising in a polarized society. The event cost 18,000 out of which 7,000 was received by crowdfunding and that money was used to pay the security costs.Without this assistance, the event may not have proceeded.
Following this event, I have received a lot of emails and my next panel discussion is inspired by some of these email exchanges, and my own personal and professional experience. The next panel discussion scheduled for late summer 2018 will be on examining Bill V-16, and the addition of gender identiy and gender expression as new categories. I am the sole organizer of the event, and I am not linked to any party, group or membership but due this because I feel a moral duty as a citizen to question whenever our free speech or civil rights are in peril. As a former social justice warrior, feminist and regressive leftist, I know the dangers of radical regressive ideolgy -- I have seen it , breathed it and lived it. As my mentor, Dr. Jordan Peterson says" the price you pay when you don't speak up, is worse than the price you pay when you speak up". I want to speak up, and hope you join me as well.
I hope people will support this initiative, and a discussion that is important to have in the current political climate we are living in. Whatever you give, even $1 will be immensely appreciated.
Funds will be used to book guest speakers, flights, hotels, hall rental and security arrangements.
