Robina Lions Club is determined to get a Big Reg Kidney Bus for the Gold Coast and south east Queensland, so people needing dialysis can come to the Gold Coast for a holiday.
To make this happen Robina Lions Club need to raise $238,000! And every donation large or small, means we can take a step closer to enabling people with serious kidney disease the chance to take a holiday - something most of us take for granted.
When up and running the Big Red Kidney Bus will provide a mobile haemodialysis service allowing those who require haemodialysis the chance to have a holiday while still receiving life giving treatment.
This Campaign will bring this service to south east Queensland.
Not only is this project a wonderful thing to do, it makes cities like the Gold Coast more accessible for tourists who are less mobile because of debilitating kidney disease.
By supporting this project you are helping a growing number of Australian dialysis patients realise their dream of travelling to one of the world’s best locations. And providing patients with at least a moment in time where they are not a prisoner to their condition.
