Big Jim med expense and income loss

Since August 21st my best friends father Big Jim (James Kohler) has been admitted in a hospital. James was forced to call an ambulance when he started experiencing chest pains and trouble breathing. When he arrived at the hospital he was doing well and talking to the doctors and answering questions, then he suffered a seizure. It turns out he had pneumonia but that has started to subside and he seems to be doing slightly on the upside. However, since he was admitted he has been in a medically induced coma because Big Jim is an alcoholic and the doctor said cutting cold turkey would kill him. The doctor has decided to keep James in the medically induced coma for at least 4 more days. As good as this is for Big Jim , and as happy as we are that his stubborn self went to the hospital, all of these things will add up to immense medical costs for the Kohler family. As well as the income loss James will have during his stay, the Kohler family, Caity, Magnus, and Momma K (Kathleen) have been keeping strong during this tough time. I was with Caity when we got the message that James had called an ambulance. We immediately (maybe even sped a little) to the emergency room. I am so proud of Caity for how well she handled herself during all of this and how strong she is. Momma K has been keeping positive and enjoys all the love and hope people are sending her. Magnus has kept on being magnus and is staying strong and praying for his dad.
