Big Apple Half Marathon

This will be our second half marathon of the year, with every intention to do a full one in the near future, this is a step in the right direction (pun intended).
It looks as though this will be a lot more challenging too, as we will endure the rolling hills of central park TWICE and the adverse weather conditions of a New York winter.
The race is on December 9th, the day before my dad's birthday. He lost his battle to cancer in 2015, he used to run 5 miles every single morning! So it only seems fitting to run this race in his honour.
All proceeds will go to the Wessex Cancer Trust, a local charity in my hometown; Southampton, Hampshire. They provided much needed support to my family during a difficult time, especially my mum who continues to remain active with them and helping others.
Any donation is greatly appreciated, thank you all for the love and support.
