Big Al Medical Expenses

Donation protected
In April 2018 my dad, Allen Mattingly, was diagnosed with liver failure. Since even before then he has been racking up medical bills trying to find the cause of his 24/7 illness. He has been self employed since he graduated high school; he runs a laundromat, a jewelry store, and a snocone stand in the summer.

On August 29, 2019, someone got into the back room of the laundromat in Columbia, cut open the changer, and stole all the money out of it. He had just stocked it the day before for the holiday weekend.

Insurance will cover a new changer, but insurance doesn’t cover the amount of money which was stolen from him.

He needs to have liver transplant surgery before the end of the year, and that is quite costly on top of all the bills he’s already accrued in a year and a half.

From this fundraiser, we are hoping to ease his mind on his current and on going bills. Anything left will go towards the cost of the transplant when a liver becomes available.
