Bevo’s Hit and Run Medical Fund

Man’s best friend. Bevo became a part of our family about a year ago and has been an amazing pet and awesome friend since the start. He is a gorgeous Brittany Spaniel that we were able to give a home to and his loving free spirit has changed my family’s lives.

Tragically, Bevo was struck by a vehicle during the excitement of us coming in from work. He loves to run and and play but unfortunately fell victim to a hit-and-run before we were able to recover him which resulted in a compound break to his femur on his right leg.

After spending the evening at the emergency clinic it was decided for Bevo to undergo surgery and install a pin to set the bone. During surgery, the Doctor determined that the type of break and fractures were too severe for the pin to be effective, making amputation the only other choice. He lost his leg Wednesday, Feb. 27th and is currently recovering at the hospital.

Sadly, the costs are mounting, which is why we are reaching out to other animal lovers who have endured the hardship of seeing your pet in pain. Any donation towards Bevo’s medical costs will be greatly appreciated and earnestly spent to that cause.
