Betty's Fight

Donation protected
We are reaching out to help Betty Butler-Bifulco. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer back in 2012 and has been fighting the fight with positivity and help of Regional Health John T. Vucurevich Cancer Care Institute. Betty has reached the end of her journey with the Cancer Care Institute and is moving on to a well known Oncologist, Dr. Burzynski based in Houston, Texas. His practices and treatments have had miraculous results providing a new found hope for the cure of cancer. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by traditional medical insurance. We are reaching out for help of our friends, family, community, and anyone else that are in a position to donate.

Betty is the definition of strength. She is a mother of 3 great children, Lacey, Tyler, and Nick. She also has 3 grandchildren that she will always open her home up to, or step in to watch at a moments notice. She was widowed back in July of 2001, when her husband had an unexpected, massive heart attack that was misdiagnosed at the hospital. She was left to raise her children on her own. Betty was given the second chance to find happiness with Tony Bifulco, her current husband of 9 years. They have been together for 15 years. She has a huge heart and operated her own daycare out of her home for 26 years.

The treatment she is about to endure costs $10,000 a month and the program normally takes 12 months. She resides in Rapid City, South Dakota and will be traveling back and forth over the next year. Betty was forced with a hard choice when it was time to give up her love of caring for children, and her business as a daycare provider so she could fight. She is currently living off of social security which barely covers living costs. Her husband, Tony works when he can and is traveling with Betty to be there for moral support and strength.

At 61 years of age, Betty is in great spirits and health. After she can conquer the fight she has been struggling with the last 6 years. Any donation no matter the amount would help tremendously, and is a step in the right direction for Betty to become cancer free.

Thank you all in advance for any contribution to Betty's fight.
