Better Opportunity Basketball (BOB)

Better Opportunity Basketball (B.O.B.) was founded in 2017 with the purpose of providing inner city youth an opportunity to attend private or preparatory high schools based on their dedication to educational success and athletic talent. B.O.B hosts minicamps to showcase these high-performing students in front of basketball Coaches and Athletic Directors from the top New England schools. B.O.B. also provides campers with academic and administrative support through the entire application process for admission to these institutions. Ultimately, our program paves the way for these youth to attend better colleges and universities than they otherwise might have.

All funds raised through our initial campaign will be used for supplies to set up our showcases, including basketballs, jerseys, and gym reservation fees. Eventually, we hope to create a true non-profit organization that will help hundreds of kids fulfill both their educational and athletic potential. A contribution of any amount will help open doors for our inner city youth.
