BE THE ROCK of STRENGTH against the BATTLE with CANCER!
We are a group of friends of Peter Kennedy that have rallied together to support Peter in his battle against cancer.
A few months ago, he had a foot injury which was misdiagnosed as gout. As his foot was not healing as expected, his doctor re-examined the foot and discovered that, in fact, it was a stress fracture. This concerned his doctor enough to do a full examination of Peter's overall health. Unfortunatelly, it was discovered Peter had a tumour in his prostate which had already metastasized to his bones and lymph nodes (Stage 4).
Although it will be an uphill battle for Peter there is HOPE should he go forward with an aggressive treatment regimen including hormone treatment, chemotherapy and radiation.
Peter did not anticipate the need to save money for treatment nor could he have predicted that he would be unable to work or drive. The stress has been overwhelming for Peter as he is uncertain of how he will cover his basic living expenses plus additional costs related to treatment.
Obtaining financial support through is only the beginning. Peter will need support in so many ways including financial, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Many have come to the aid of Peter's success against his battle with Cancer. We are hoping to reach most of you with this campaign.
