Help Annabelle Welcome Mike Home

Michael has been my friend for over twenty years. I was best man when he married his wife Karen and became an honorary uncle to his son Jonathan. Five years ago, they added a beautiful golden retriever named Annabelle to their family.
Michael has served in the miliatary since 1997 and is currently finishing up a year-long tour of duty overseas. The entire family has been dealing with this as best they can. Recently though, my friends recieved devastating news.
On February 1st, Annabelle was diagnosed with a lymphoma mass on her lung. She began chemo treatment on February 5th and February 11th. She was rushed back to the hospital on Valentine's Day with extreme dehydration and gastroenteritis (inflammation of Gastro Intestinal Tract). As of this writing, she is still critical but stable.
Annabelle is extremely loved and continues to love and touch all those around her. The family is facing some substantial bills for continued chemo treatment but want nothing more than for her to be well and present for Michael's homecoming.
I have promoted and supported many Gofundme projects. This is the first time I am asking others for money for a project I started. I will make sure to include updates including proof that the money has been delivered to the family.
The current goal is set at $5,000, as the current costs for Annabelle's treatment total about $4,500. Money to Gofundme aside, the costs are likely to almost double, and I will likely update the goal to reflect that.
