Update; The family is still planning logistics of both the funerals. We are hoping to either get the ashes here or for the kids to go there. Travel may or may not be possible at this point because it takes 2 days to travel to Laos and there are Visa's that need to be obtained. Everyone is doing as well as expected. Thank you once again.
Beng Rajsombath passed iunexpectedly on 12/20/2015 while visiting Laos her home country. Beng lived a rich life where she was dedicated to her family, loved to travel and loved to cook. Many will remember her for her smile and love of life.
We really appreciate everyone's love during this difficult time. Many of you have reached out offering your kind words and support. Your support means the world and truly makes this difficult time a little bit easier.
Some of you have asked how you can help. Because Beng was visiting Laos at the time of her passing and she is a U.S. citizen, there are some extra complications logistically of the burial that need to be taken care of. Her children are flying out to Laos for the burial and there will also be a ceremony here. There are also hospital bills that need to be paid for in Laos in addition to the cost of the burial itself. It is the holiday season and a difficult time for many to help financially. However, if you would like to, please know that it is greatly appreciated.
