Bella's Vet Bills
Donation protected
This family dog was unexpectedly let out of her yard and struck by a Red Dodge Ram, Oct. 16th in Hampton Village on McClocklin. The driver did not stop to check on the well being of the animal. The event was witnessed by only a few people and since, the dog has been missing for over 72 hours.
Many neighborhood people have been out searching the surrounding area for Bella but have been unsuccessful.(even through the terrible wind/rain storm Tuesday night)
Bella was found in a field outside of the city and reunited with her owners (Thursday Oct. 19th), however severely injured. Nine year old Bella was taken directly to the UofS Small Animal Emergency Clinic to have her injuries assessed.
Oct. 20: The latest update suggests Bella suffered a broken jaw and severe damage to her hind leg, requiring an amputation. The family has advised all surgeries were successful and going forward after recovery, Bella will continue to live a healthy life.
People who have been following this story have been asking for ways to donate.
If you would like to donate and this is the easiest way, apart from e-transfers or direct donations, please go ahead and and all proceeds will go to the bills associated with Bella's care.
