Dear all, my name is Taylor Giandomenico, and I am done hiding, but I need your help.
This past week I attended a self development course called MITT in Los Angeles, California and it changed my life. Prior to the course I’ve been hiding, telling myself that I’m okay and playing life safe. I’m done playing small and hiding, I get to live. MITT basic training changed me so much, that I am determined to make it to part two of the training, called advanced.
Background:
When I was younger I wanted to be a performer, an entertainer, an ARTIST. I wanted to be able to express myself through all art forms. I was shut down at one point, as a lot of people are. When that happened I chose to walk away. I decided to give up on my dreams because people said I couldn’t do it. I believed them, instead of believing in myself.
A few years later I became interested in the Make Up Industry. I was accepted into the best school, and worked for an amazing brand after graduating. Everyone admired my work and told me how talented I was, but honestly, it felt overwhelming to me. I didn’t like the attention, and I didn’t want to be seen. I didn’t want to accept the fact that I was talented, that I was enough. The feelings of praise were not familiar to me, it didn’t fit the story I was telling myself, so I quit.
Years later, I decided it was time for a change so I came to visit a friend in California. A friend told me that if I would have skipped this trip, it’s possible that I would have died sooner than expected. Life was going to shake me up to the point where there was no turning back. My self doubt was so strong it was going to kill me, because of a story I continuously lived everyday.
This past week I decided to wake up and make a change. My story is a message, it matters and I know there are a lot of people hiding out there just like I was. I was not born to shy away from the world, I was born to create and INSPIRE, and that’s what I plan on doing. I’m asking for your support to start this new journey of my life. All donations are highly appreciated. I will give back to the world, and inspire others to follow their dreams as well. Everyone gets to believe in themselves, because everyone is here for a reason.
Advanced level two starts next Wednesday, so I only have four days to collect as much money as I can towards tuition and room and board! I refuse to go back to my old ways, my life gets to change, and this starts now. I deserve happiness, a life full of love and fulfillment. I get to live the life I’ve always wanted, and it starts with taking this program.
