Believe in miracles! #saveluna

On 9/26, a dog named Luna bit her neighbor’s dog in a shared area of the apartment building. The little dog did require 2-3 stitches and a few days later, the neighbor called Troy Animal Control. Luna’s owners had previously offered to pay for all vet bills and were very apologetic to the situation. Luna is 6 years old and has NEVER been aggressive or has bitten another animal or person. Like people, maybe these dogs just didn’t like each other. Luna was then taken from her home days after the incident and put into a cage by herself with no contact with any humans.  On Friday, November 2nd, a judge in Troy Civil Court ordered Luna to be euthanized on 11/5 at 4 pm.  We have been able to avoid that; however it’s not court ordered.   We thought all hope was lost however; on Thursday, a motivated, fearless attorney has stepped to the plate and Luna has a voice.  This is going to be an arduous, long journey and already costs are adding up.  There was a previous gofundme account which has been closed- the donations from that will be used to pay for a court fees such as a transcriber.  The donations on this gofundme are going to be utilized to continue the fight in the court system, and when Luna is home any funds not used will be donated to a local shelter.  Luna belongs home with her family and she needs your help to get her there!
