Oasis LA Internship 2018

2018 marks the eighth year that I walk with God. In the past seven years, I’ve witnessed God deliver me from school bullying, the success and failure of family finances, the death of my father right after my grandfather’s in the same week and the horrors of domestic abuse. Praise Lord for converting my mom and my grandma during these years! Until today, five of my family members have built their own relationships with Jesus and serving my hometown church in Beijing together as a family in Christ.
I strongly believe that God is going to use this program to help me reach a higher spiritual level and further prepare my leadership this season. I’ve heard God’s calling to go ALL IN with Christ by keeping doors open for those who are suffering from the same hardships I’ve experienced as well and being a bridge between my current church Oasis LA which I’ve been serving for 3 years and my hometown church in Beijing. I also believe this internship program will be the way that God continually reveals His wisdom to me. Being led to Oasis LA by God is a prodigious blessing that I have received in my life so far. Because it means I have arrived at my Promised Land, a place where my soul can finally rest.
However, since I am still holding an F-1 student visa that doesn’t allow me to earn income. Moreover, my family has obediently and faithfully given their savings to missionaries at my hometown church as well as my tuition and living expenses here. Therefore, my family and I have surrendered this season of financial drought to God and firmly believe that our Lord will fulfill His promises and provide what we need.
