Beef Wellington (Short Film)

We are making a dry comedy narrative short film called Beef Wellington. It follows a recent college graduate through his final days before getting evicted from his apartment. In that time, he drives around town, watches an art house film, and makes beef wellington.

A portion of the film will be shot in black and white on 16mm film, so most of our budget is going towards 400 feet of film plus the developing costs. The rest of the budget will go towards ingredients for beef wellington. We have two very fine beef wellington chefs who are very excited to assist us on set, but beef tenderloin isn't cheap.
Our goal is to raise the $700 by the end of April. Shooting on film is incredibly important not only for the aesthetic of this film, but for the story as well. Certain sequences need to look convincingly like a 1960's European art house film, and that effect would not be possible to achieve digitally.
We are extremely excited for this project and are incredibly thankful for any support.
