Brain surgery trip for Moms

Hey everyone! This is my mom...her name is Julie..recently we found out she has lung cancer. Unfortunately for us time has not been on our side and the lung tumor has quickly spread to her brain. It has been super scary and exhausting, but we have options! First and foremost we have to get the tumor in her brain removed...this will be happening at Stanford University on July 24th. I'm going to be my moms companion and caregiver for this adventure and we are taking the trip to the bay where we will be staying for at least a week. The purposes of this gofundme are two-fold...first, to help support travel expenses and second, in equally important part, to finance some fun activity with my mom in the bay the weekend before the surgery such as going to the wharf or having a nice dinner in the city. If everyone was to chip in a bit, I think we could give Mom a really nice trip before she gets into the woods with treatment. Thanks for taking the time to read through all of this!
