Bec's Immunotherapy Treatment

For those who aren't aware, Bec was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer in 2013. This cancer is extremely difficult to diagnose, persistent and aggressive. Bec's treatment over the past 6 years has included multiple surgeries and various forms of ongoing chemotherapy.  At this point the chemotherapy  options are close to exhausted and the next most promising treatment available is immunotherapy. This treatment is not currently funded by the government for patients with Ovarian Cancer despite showing good results in clinical trials.

For a patient to self fund the Immunotherapy  treatment the cost would be approximately $3000 per week. For Bec to know if this treatment is successful a minimum duration of 10 weeks of therapy would be required.
