Support Bek's Battle With Rare Cancer

If this page has found you it probably means that you are lucky enough to know Bek, Omy and Winnie. You may also be aware of the cruel and unfair situation that has gripped their beautiful little family recently.
Just weeks after giving birth to their first gorgeous little girl, Winnie (who is perfect, by the way), Bek was diagnosed with a rare form of bile duct/liver cancer. Surgical intervention was unable to remove this altogether and given the rareness of this cancer, the treatment options available in Australia are limited and will only aim to reduce the existing cancer and not cure it.
We can't accept that yet. Bek, Omy and Winnie need to be together.
Bek and Omy have a family friend who has been fighting her own cancer battle. She too had limited options available in Australia and has since responded positively to alternative treatments in Malaysia.
With the help of medical experts, Bek and Omy have decided that this is the most promising outlet of the few treatment options that they have available to them at this stage.
Unfortunately, this will not be cheap and there is no financial aid available for this course of treatment. As they have been unable to work for months, the financial pressure of starting a brand new family is already an extra stress without the added pressure to find the additional finances to fund treatment.
While we all feel helpless in situations like this, taking away some of this added pressure is a small way we can help them.
