Help with Bean's Vet Bill!

Donation protected
Hey guys.

TLDR; My old lady cat is super sick and is staying overnight to help get IV antibiotics and hopefully break her fever. That's really expensive. I do not have expensive. Halp?

Full story:

On Sunday (4/11) one of our cats, Zak aka Bean, started feeling sluggish. She's an old lady of 14, and has had chronic upper respiratory grossness on and off for a while, but otherwise in good health, and spritely for her age and tiny body, so the sluggishness was unusual.

On Monday (4/12) she was spotted sleeping in one of her usual spots and not really interested in doing any sort of morning rounds, but was otherwise left alone. (Cats do as cats do.) She didn't come out, eat, drink, or do anything but eventually hiding, all day. By the time she was found Monday evening she was lathargic, upset, producing an epic amount of nastiness out of her nose and wanting to do nothing but sleep/lay there.

We tried to give her some warmed up food, some water,  and she was just not interested. By this time it was Monday night.

We decided to take her to a 24 hour vet, not wanting to risk her tanking even more overnight.

The vet checked her vitals and her temperature
was 104.5. Cats run between 100.5 to 102.5 as normal. The obvious physical signs combined with her temp meant the vet is figuring some sort of illness causing the fever, snot, eye discharge, etc.

They prefer to keep cats, especially because of her age (and possibly extra fiestiness), overnight/24 hours to help break the fever and get the first couple doses of antibiotics in her through IV. They're also going to do blood tests to make sure she has what they think she does.

Overnight stays, blood tests, antibiotics by IV are not cheap. They low estimate was $1000, and what they requested the deposit for, but it could be as high as $1500 depending on what happens and what exactly she has, and who knows how much the antibiotics she'll need to take at home will cost.

For those of you that don't know me, I have no income. I'm unable to work due to an accident a couple years ago and in the (long) process of apply for disability. My mother supports us both on a nonprofit job income, and $1500 for our cat suddenly getting sick is not something we really have the means for.

I don't like asking for money. I didn't during anything relating to my accident or post and we scraped our way through all of that as best we could. But because of that, we're tapped out and I don't want to risk my cat not getting the best care possible because I can't afford it.

Anything given to help offset the costs is so beyond appreciated and means the world to me. I'm not expecting miracles, I'm just hoping for a little help. I put the full 'high' estimate as the goal, hoping that between her possibly coming in at the 'low' amount and additional medications, that'll work out.
