Hi Friends,
My name is Ginely Reyes, I am 25 years old, from Venezuela, currently I’m doing my second semester abroad in Architecture at BTU Cottbus in Germany.
I started my career in Architecture at the Central University of Venezuela and decided to come to Germany to study abroad and to gain experience with the latest techniques and technology in architecture. This is a requirement of the DGNB certification process so that I can properly evaluate the life of a building and its environmental impact.
In this year as an exchange student and during my internship I realized that interior design is the main subfield that has the greatest career opportunities. This is because not only are all the new buildings required to meet the latest criteria in terms of efficiency and functionality, but also environmentally friendly. This means, a lot of existing buildings need to be redesigned to meet these newer standards. Additionally, the possibility to change the use of the space, giving it a new opportunity and changing the way people perceive these spaces and how they feel in there.

Being an interior architect allows me to dream and make people dream, which is not only to create a space that functions and regulations, but also to improve the lifestyle of the people who inhabit this space. Creating the necessary harmony, between happiness and productivity.
This is why I recently applied and was admitted to the BAU International University , https://www.bauinternational-berlin.de/ to finish my degree in architecture with a focus on interior design, starting on the 1st of October.
For the last few months I’ve been working along with studying with the sole purpose of earning the money to finance my education, but for now I am able to pay only the short term expenses, (rent, health insurance and food), but not the semester fees, which are much harder to achieve. for that reason, I am asking for your financial support and would be grateful for any donations that you are willing and able to make
